About

I created Bella the Butterfly for my own School and when my assistants moved on to teaching roles and asked if they could use Bella, I realised she was something special.

I set about developing her into something that could be shared. I found an artist to bring the adventures to life through incredible illustrations, commissioned children's dance musician Grant Horsley to compose the music, then she fully took flight through the creation of the soft toy.

I created a focus group of dance teachers to test her out to make sure she was tip top, resulting in wonderful feedback.

I didn't want you to have to sign up to anything, we pay enough fees as it is, so it's just a one off purchase, but my team and I can support any suggestions you have for further development or requests.

I trained at the Royal Ballet School and performed professionally with the Dusseldorf Ballet and English National Ballet. I am a qualified teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and an affiliated teacher with the Royal Ballet School.

I have been running my own School and delighting my pupils with Bella since 2012. We have over 500 pupils just doing Ballet. I fully credit Bella for her part in that success, if you have a strong pre-school department, your school can grow from there.
